Vietnam ships frozen shrimp to over 100 countries, with the Mekong Delta and Ca Mau provinces alone producing more than 40% of national volume. For mid-volume importers, it's the most reliable balance of price, scale, and certification depth.
Decades of intensive Vannamei and extensive Black Tiger farming. Year-round supply, multiple harvest cycles, traceable from pond to packer.
BAP 4-star, ASC, GlobalG.A.P., HACCP, BRC, IFS, FDA-registered plants. Every supplier we recommend holds the certs your buyer requires.
Ho Chi Minh and Cat Lai ports handle the bulk of seafood reefer traffic. FOB, CIF, DDP options. Direct sailings to LA, Long Beach, Rotterdam, Yokohama.
We source the full processing spectrum — head-on, headless, peeled, deveined, cooked, breaded, EZ-peel — graded by piece count per pound or per kilogram.

You give us the spec. We do the rest — supplier shortlist, audit, sample, contract, and shipment monitoring.
You send species, size grade, processing form, target volume, certifications, destination port, and target landed cost. We respond within one business day with feasibility.
From our vetted network, we present 3 processors matching your spec — with cert copies, plant photos, capacity, and reference customers anonymized to protect commercial confidentiality.
We arrange a sample shipment and, if you want, a remote or on-site audit. We attend the audit on your behalf and produce a written report covering sanitation, traceability, and microbiological controls.
We help structure the supply contract — Incoterms, payment terms, claims clauses, residue testing — and monitor production runs against your spec sheet.
Pre-shipment inspection at the cold storage. Container loading photos. Bill of lading and full document set forwarded. Post-arrival follow-up to close the feedback loop.
We pre-filter for cert depth before we ever put a processor in front of you.

Most processors quote in container loads — a 40ft refrigerated container holds roughly 25–27 metric tons of frozen shrimp depending on pack format. Some plants accept LCL (less-than-container) for trial orders, but pricing is materially higher per kilo. For meaningful pricing, plan on at least one full 40ft container.
From brief to shortlist: 3–5 business days. Sample shipment: 2–3 weeks (air freight). First production order after contract signing: typically 30–45 days to ready-for-shipment, plus 18–25 days ocean transit to US West Coast or 28–35 days to EU. Total brief-to-arrival is usually 75–100 days for a first-time order.
Three layers. First, we only work with processors holding multiple international certs and live audit history. Second, we conduct pre-shipment inspection — random carton opening, glaze check, count verification, microbiological sampling at an independent lab. Third, contracts include claims clauses with retention against the final payment until arrival inspection clears.
For first orders: 30% T/T deposit, 70% against copy of bill of lading is the most common structure. As the relationship matures, terms move toward L/C at sight, then L/C 30/60/90 days. We do not recommend full-prepayment trades regardless of how attractive the unit price looks.
We coordinate with the supplier's freight forwarder or your nominated forwarder. Standard document set includes commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading, certificate of origin, health certificate, and any cert-specific documents (BAP/ASC chain-of-custody). For US shipments we ensure FDA Prior Notice is filed; for EU, the CHED-P entry process.
We work on a transparent commission model — a small percentage on the FOB value, disclosed upfront, paid by the supplier on your behalf with no markup hidden in the unit price. For audit and inspection services we charge a flat fee per day on-site. No retainer required for the initial brief and shortlist.
Tell us your spec — species, size, volume, destination — and we'll come back within one business day with three vetted processors that match.
